great amenities but some room for improvement
The communal kitchen was a standout feature. I enjoyed the beautiful pool area, a perfect spot to relax. The location is fantastic, with a large, wonderful park just a short walk away, with a lovely setting for morning strolls and picnics.
The overall cleaning of the room could have been more thorough.

The size of the room and the balcony, secure parking behind the fortified hotel wall, within walking distance to the downtown area.
Access to the hotel from the main road is awful via a dirty and potholed lane. Moreover, the hotel is nearly impossible to find, since there are no street signs, no signboard on the compound itself, only a doorbell without any name. Virtually uneatable breakfast: 3 days old bread and pastry, cold fried eggs, no marmalade or honey, strange looking and smelling jelly-like sandwiches....The hotel does not want to accept credit cards, blaiming technical problems. After cash payment they are quite unwilling to give you the receipt. What you get at the end is a handwritten piece of paper in the Russian cyrillic alphabet.

Quiet location (except when feral dogs barking), near to centre but on a rough narrow road. Building recently renovated to acceptable standards but no lift and a flight of steep steps with no handrail leading to main entance. The hotel airport transfer on arrival was fine.
No evening meals unless pre-booked. No bar. Room key was a duplicate key and temperamenttal (could take upto 1 minute to open door). On arrival only 1 glass and towels for 1 guest although booked as a double. Room not made up at all one day. Despite advertising in English to the international market, only one member of staff could speak any English and she was not on duty every day. Russian was the main language of the hotel. Buffet breakfast had few fresh items each morning - bread and cakes often several days old. Fried eggs were the only consistently fresh item. Hotel staff had no concept of modern customer service. Hotel asked for cash to pay for 5 nights accomodation but we refused. Credit card transaction took 30 minutes including 1 deliberate error and 1 genuine error. We had to insist on corrective action (credit card refund). We may have to ask for help from Booked.net if we find further errors on returning home on 9th July. Hotel building is as described but quality is not 4 star and customer service is very poor. We recommend that the star rating is downgraded to 2* and the room price is reduced by half.

I loved how close I was to both Cathedral Park, less than a 5-minute walk away, and the National Museum of History of Moldova, just over a 2 km stroll, making my weekend explorations super enjoyable and easy.

It is a very pleasant small hotel located centrally and close to the main city square. The staff were both friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent ! I have re-booked for January 2013 for my next visit !
Nothing - everything is fine !!

The staff were friendly .
Initially, I found that there was no information provided regarding the cash-only payment, which caught me off guard upon arrival. The room I received did not match what I had booked, leading to an awkward split between beds. The communal bathroom arrangement was uncomfortable, especially as it had a nearly see-through door.

Overall had great stay in business trip. They gave us wonderful standard double room with air conditioning. The staff was nice and flexible, and requests were handled quickly.

The entrance was a disaster to locate, especially at night, with minimal signage. I also couldn't believe the audacity of not having a heated bathroom ! You'd think they'd go above and beyond to make up for these absurdities, but no one offered me a complimentary gesture at all. Honestly, i nearly gave a good review, but just couldn't.
